Mikaela Shiffrin on coping with grief during the pandemic.
The American double Olympic champion Mikaela Shiffrin is her countries most decorated skier and one of the world's most dominant athletes.
The 26 year old won her sixth world championship title and her 11th medal overall earlier this year, but this season has been the first since the passing of her father, Jeff in February 2020 after an accident at the family home.
Shiffrin has been speaking about her new perspective on life and racing and how she coped with the family tragedy during a global pandemic.
