Burnley Boss's 'tremendous disappointment' in ESL idea

The owner of Burnley football club has told ѿý Radio 5 Live Drive about the "tremendous disappointment" and "anger" he feels about the prospect of the European Super League (ESL).

Speaking to 5 Live Drive's Tony Livesey he said "there is something very special" about the Premier League.

"You can’t rip the heart out of the body and expect the body to live on”, said Pace.

The Burnley boss is supporting the government to bring in legislation to stop the proposal.

"It's not the clubs themselves, it's individuals that are doing this... there has to be a way that when there is injustice happening like this, that people find a voice and find a way to actually let the fans be heard… "It has to be made right" he urged.
