Michaela who has spinal muscular atrophy has said people should remember people who are shielding as lockdown restrictions ease.

The condition puts her at very high risk if she were to get Covid.

Michaela, who has gone from being very active to not leaving the house other than a few occasions for over 400 days, told Stephen Nolan

鈥淚 think people don鈥檛 understand that it鈥檚 their behaviour鈥� which drives up community transmission.鈥�

Although she has had both vaccines Michaela plans to keep shielding until cases have gone down.
