Long Covid symptoms: 'It reminds me of when I was looking after stroke patients'
One in five Covid patients go on to have symptoms that last for more than 12 weeks.
These include fatigue, breathlessness, joint pain and brain fog.
Sasha Pearce, a physio and NHS manager, has been dealing with symptoms of long Covid for over a year.
Talking to 5 Live, she described her symptoms, which include brain fog, and explained how they make her job a challenge.
She said: "I appear to be having a normal conversation but I'll be halfway through a conversation and I won't be able to find the word.
"It reminds me of when I was looking after stroke patients and they would struggle to find the words."
