Cornwall's Luke Cowan Dickie on being selected for the British and Irish Lions
Luke Cowan Dickie has joined a unique club of Cornish rugby players who’ve been selected for the British and Irish Lions.
The Penzance born hooker, who plays for the Exeter Chiefs, has been called up to Lions for the first time.
He follows in the footsteps of fellow Cornishman Jack Nowell, who misses out this time. Cornish rugby legends Richard Sharp and Phil Vickery are also part of a select group of Cornishman to have donned the famous red jersey.
The Lions are scheduled to play eight games across six locations in South Africa and the team will train and play in a coronavirus bubble with camps in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
