Colombia: Why are people protesting?
Dozens of people have died in a wave of anti-tax reform protests in Colombia. The marches started on 28 April and are ongoing.
The UN’s human rights office has accused security forces of using excessive force towards protesters.
Sara, who was involved in the protests, says she was ‘randomly detained’ and spent six days in jail.
Colombia’s Defence Minister told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Minute there is zero tolerance towards illegal conduct at the hands of the security forces.
