The children who have to avoid everyday foods - or risk irreversible brain damage
We investigate what real life is like for people with Phenylketonuria, hearing from Donna and Matthew Gullick from Malvern. Their children Charlotte and Elliott have to dramatically watch their protein intake and only eat an especially created diet, that needs a full extra freezer! Campaigners are fighting to get a new drug called Kuvan approved to help treat children with the condition.
