Newly-discovered frog named after Led Zeppelin
Scientists have discovered a new species of land frog and named it after the rock band, Led Zeppelin.
The Pristimantis ledzeppelin, or Led Zeppelin frog, was found in the Andes between Ecuador and Peru.
Carolina Reyes Puig, a conservation biologist at the San Francisco University in Quito, Ecuador, was one of the two scientists to come across the frog.
She told Newshour's Tim Franks about how the species could be affected by biodiversity loss, due to climate change.
