Protests as critic of Palestinian Authority dies after arrest
There've been angry demonstrations in the Palestinian city of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank -- with the anger directed towards the leadership of the Palestinian Authority (PA).
A prominent critic of the PA, Nizir Banat, died on Thursday after being arrested by Palestinian security forces in Hebron. His family say that he was severely beaten when officers raided his home.
Ubai Aboudi is a human rights activist from Bisan Center for Research and Development in Ramallah. He told Newshour's Tim Franks about his fellow activist's campaigning.
