What's going on with Covid in North Korea?

North Korea's leader, Kim Jong-un, has referred to a "great crisis" related to Covid-19 inside the country and he has punished several officials for an unspecified incident.

Mr Kim's vague reference to a "crucial case" during his speech could indicate that the virus is now present inside the country.

Dr Edward Howell, a North Korean politics specialist at Oxford University told Newshour's Razia Iqbal about the significance of the news out of Pyongyang.
