'There have been days where I've had to be scraped off the floor, and that's okay'

Candice Brown has said that despite her huge successes, behind the scenes, she has struggled with her mental health.

The 2016 Bake Off winner and pub owner has depression and ADHD.

Talking to Clare McDonnell on 5 Live Breakfast, she said: 鈥淲e have these grey days, whether it鈥檚 off the back of last year or things happening.鈥�

Describing her kitchen she added: 鈥淚t's my happy place, it鈥檚 my sad place, it鈥檚 where I go when I want to feel good.鈥�

鈥淚 still have days of being ashamed of it but actually this is me and there鈥檚 nothing I can do about it.鈥�
