Covid: France rolls out health pass for cultural venues
France is introducing a health pass which says you can only go to museums, gyms, cinemas and theatres if you show a document which says you’ve been vaccinated, had a negative test or recently had Covid.
Louisa Louis is a journalised based in Paris. She told Newsday: “The government said as soon as the health pass kicks in at these venues, you won’t need a facemask, although several owners say you will have to keep your facemask on. Some people feel that the government shouldn’t impose such a thing. There is a hardcore group of anti vax people. From early August, the government is also talking about a law where people will need that pass to get access to restaurants, bars and trains and planes.â€
