One of the main electoral pledges by US President Joe Biden was to rebuild the country's roads, rail-tracks, power grids, broadband and waterways. Well the plan, which could be worth over one trillion dollars, hast just received a boost as a majority of Senators agreed on a procedure paving the way for a formal debate on an infrastructure bill. So how significant a moment is this in terms of bipartisanship in Washington and can this bill pass? Here's political analyst Larry Gerston, Professor Emeritus at San Jose University.
