Gluten-free cook and author Becky Excell says she鈥檚 not had a friend since 2009.

Speaking to 5 Live鈥檚 Naga Munchetty, Becky said she had a huge response after opening up on her Instagram about her lack of a friendship group.

She said it鈥檚 a 鈥渢aboo subject to say I don鈥檛 have any friends鈥�, but that after hearing how many other people are in a similar situation it鈥檚 鈥渘ot as strange as you may think鈥�.

Becky says she would like some friends, but that she is happy and fulfilled having her partner as her 鈥渂est mate鈥� and focussing on her career and new cookbook.
