Lionel Messi, considered one of the greatest players of all time, left Barcelona as they were unable to afford a new deal under La Liga's financial fair play rules. He has now been signed by Paris St-Germain, and has said he dreams of winning the Champions League.

Jeremy Smith, French football writer and podcaster, says that PSG may need to sell as many as 10 players to keep them within 'fair play' rules this year, have many good players, but need to work as a team to progress in the French league.

"Winning the French league is one thing - but to win the Champions League you need to be able to click as a team."
