'I think the police have gone too far'
The number of rape prosecutions has fallen to its lowest level since the data began being collected.
Figures showed over three years up to May 2020, prosecutions and convictions for rape more than halved.
We spoke to National Police Chiefs Council Rape and Sexual Offences lead Chief Constable Sarah Crew about the intrusive requests to access victim records, which rape crisis centres cite as a reason for the drop in rape convictions and prosecutions.
