'I became nothing'
A woman who fled Afghanistan in 2008 has spoken about how difficult it was to adjust to a new life in the UK.
Marzia Babakarkhail was working as a judge when she left her home country and has since become a women鈥檚 rights activist in the UK.
鈥淚 lost my status, my education and I became nothing,鈥 she said.
Speaking to 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 Live Breakfast, Marzia described how long it took to build a new life.
鈥淚 still have to work hard, I haven鈥檛 completed my goal, it鈥檚 a long way to go,鈥 she said.
