The British defence ministry says seven people have died in the chaotic crowds outside Kabul airport, where thousands are trying to flee Afghanistan. Masses of desperate people have been trying to get through checkpoints in sweltering heat to reach evacuation flights before they end. Newshour spoke to Kim Sengupta of the Independent newspaper about the situation at Kabul airport today.
