How the ‘Sandhurst sisterhood’ are trying to get female Afghan soldiers out of the country.

Reports from over the weekend reveal a desperate situation for many women and children in Afghanistan trying to flee. We've heard a lot and seen photographs of the male British troops. But what about the women who are currently serving on the ground in Afghanistan?

Major Alice Bromage completed two tours of Afghanistan before leaving the military in 2016. She joined Emma Barnett on Woman’s Hour to discuss the women at risk, including those in the military she trained and worked alongside, and the role of the ‘Sandhurst Sisterhood’ network trying to help them.
