Actor Daniel Mays has told 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 Live he 鈥渨holeheartedly鈥� disagrees with Anthony Hopkins鈥� views on drama schools.

Speaking to GQ magazine, the 83-year-old star said that acting schools are not worth paying for and that they are often set up by 鈥渇ailed鈥� thespians.

鈥淒on鈥檛 waste your money. They鈥檙e failed actors that set themselves up as gurus," he said.

Daniel Mays told Nihal Arthanayake he thought the two-time Oscar winner was 鈥渨ay off the mark鈥�.

鈥淚t gives you the tools of the trade to enhance the talent you already have,鈥� he said. 鈥淎nd it will introduce you to different writers.鈥�
