Thousands of Boko Haram fighters surrender in Nigeria

The Nigerian military says nearly 6,000 Boko Haram members have surrendered in recent days.

The Nigerian military says several thousand of Boko Haram fighters have turned themselves in to authorities in recent weeks. There have also been reports of similar events in Cameroon.
