DJ Spoony read out loud a note he received from a neighbour during lockdown, thanking him for the music he had been playing.

The radio presenter, whose real name is Jonathan Joseph, was taking part in the Word Matters: Read Out Loud challenge from 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 Live.

The station wants people to record themselves reading out some words which really matter to them.

Spoony said it was the first time he had ever received such a letter and it made him feel like he was making a difference to someone鈥檚 life.

鈥淚t really inspired me and also made me remember that I need to just keep cracking on and pressing on and helping out when I could,鈥� he said.
