Broadway is back after Covid shutdown
New York's theatres are gradually reopening after the longest shutdown in their history, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Audiences are required to wear masks, and they also need to be fully vaccinated, as do the performers and backstage crew.
Singer Sara Bareilles, who wrote and performs in the hit musical Waitress, explains what it's been like to return to the Broadway stage, after an 18-month gap.
