Ex-footballer hopes to return to the pitch after kidney transplant
Former Scotland midfielder Kevin McDonald has successfully received a kidney from his brother Fraser, after battling kidney disease for 14 years.
Speaking to 5 Live鈥檚 Adrian Chiles, Kevin says just four months after his transplant, he鈥檚 back exercising and hopes to begin training 鈥渢he football fitness鈥 soon.
鈥淲hoever gives me the chance [to play football] now,鈥 he said, 鈥淚鈥檒l be obviously grateful to them鈥 whatever needs to be done, I鈥檒l do it to get back on the pitch.鈥
