'I was judged. I was asked some very tough and uncomfortable questions’
Julia Peyton-Jones was director at the Serpentine Gallery in London for 25 years. She stepped down in 2016 and became a mother less than a year later, aged 64. Her daughter Pia is now four and a half years old.
She joined Emma Barnett to discuss the judgement she faced from the press, public and her loved ones when she chose to become a mother later in life.
