Anne-Marie: 'Reading took me to another world'
'Reading took me to another world'
Singer-songwriter Anne-Marie told 5 Live's Nihal Arthanayake how she rediscovered reading and how it led her to writing her own book 'You Deserve Better.'
"I've got dyslexia and always struggled with reading, so I didn't want to.
"I picked up as book as I started therapy and I made myself read it. I was taken into another world... I learnt so much."
Anne-Marie talked about how much she enjoyed reading Matt Haig's 'Notes on a nervous planet.'
"If that can help me and I'm trying to write music to help people… I want to be able to write a whole book."
