Friends walk 130 miles in 56 hours for Bath hospital’s baby care unit
Dale Weeks and Rich Marshall walked from Bradford-on-Avon to Tower Bridge in London for the Beau Roffey Tribute Fund.
Theirs was one of several challenges raising money for the fund in memory of Beau, who died two days after he was born in November 2020.
Claire Carter talks to Dale and Rich about their walk.
She also talks to Beau’s parents Paul and Kat about all the other people in Frome who have supported them.
They tell Claire how the fund gives Beau’s life “purpose and meaning” and how it could benefit other children in his position in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Bath’s Royal United Hospital.
