'Reading means I can play games with my family'
Workers from Blackpool Transport have been sharing what reading means to them.
Bus drivers, managers and admin staff wrote down and gave reasons why reading has improved their lives as part of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live’s Read Out Loud challenge.
The station has been asking people to record themselves reading out loud some words which really matter to them.
One staff member said: “Reading means I can play games with my family at home.â€
Blackpool Transport is one of a number of companies offering skills support to its staff through the Unite union Lifelong Learning scheme.
