A tribute to lives lost by US gun violence

Currently on view at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC, an installation of the Gun Violence Memorial. Conceived by MASS Design Group and conceptual artist Hank Willis Thomas in collaboration with gun violence prevention groups, the memorial consists of 4 houses, each built of 700 glass bricks, a reference to the average number of lives lost due to gun violence each week in America.
