Hatice Cengiz, fianc茅e of murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi has spoken of her disappointment following the news of the Saudi-backed takeover of Newcastle United.

鈥淚t is like giving the green light to those who have been linked with crime,鈥� she said.

The death of her fianc茅e was deemed to be the responsibility of the Saudi government, according to a UN investigation.

The Premier League approved the takeover of Newcastle United, which is backed by the Saudi government.
