Al Capone’s granddaughter wants auction to reveal gangster’s soft side

Al Capone was the Chicago mobster dubbed "Public Enemy Number One" for his relatively brief but blood-soaked reign as a crime boss in the 1920s. He was eventually imprisoned for tax evasion, having raked in vast amounts from brothels, gambling joints, extortion, all greased with liberal amounts of violence.

As 170 pieces from the estate of the notorious mobster go on sale at an auction, Newshour’s Tim Franks has been speaking to the auctioneer, Brian Witherell, and Al Capone's grand-daughter, Diane Patricia Capone. So what's for sale -- and should it even be on sale?
