A woman has described what it was like not being able to visit her husband in a care home throughout the pandemic.

Lynn鈥檚 husband Trevor, who has dementia, went into a care home at the start of the first lockdown.

鈥淚t still hurts now, a terrible memory, because I couldn鈥檛 see him at all for all those weeks.

I鈥檝e never been on my own before and I couldn鈥檛 even access help from my family,鈥� she said.

The care home鈥檚 rules mean that, even now, Lynn can only visit Trevor for half an hour twice a week 鈥� and is only just able to touch without gloves.
