Britain鈥檚 most decorated Olympic diver, Tom Daley, spoke to 5 Live鈥檚 Nihal Arthanayake about his series of proposal attempts to now-husband Lance Black.

Tom had intended to propose in Lance鈥檚 favourite place - Dolores Park in San Francisco, but construction work denied them the romantic view they鈥檇 hoped for.

鈥淚 get up to the top of the hill and he [Lance] goes 鈥榞osh it鈥檚 so ugly with all this construction鈥�,鈥� said Tom.

Then on a picnic with a view of Golden Gate Bridge 鈥渁 whole band of schools come through and ruined the moment鈥�.

After several more attempts in picturesque settings, Tom finally proposed at their home, in his undies!

鈥淚 was wearing more than I do to work,鈥� he said.
