Covid: Latvia locks down
After a recent worrying surge in Covid cases, Latvia begins a national lockdown in order to try and curb the spread. Across the European Union the average rate of fully vaccinated adults is 74%, in Latvia it is 54%.
Daumants Vidinch, a journalist based in Latvia, explains what the restrictions will mean in this EU country.
