Stratford Town's chairman hopes the weekend's FA Cup match will inspire the next generation
The chairman of Stratford Town Football Club has told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR that any money leftover from their historic FA Cup match will be pumped back into the club.
The Bard lost 5-1 to League One side Shrewsbury Town in first ever match in the FA Cup first round.
It was shown on TV, and the club received extra income from gate receipts, but staging the match itself was an expensive exercise.
Chairman Jed McCrory and Kevin Hand, the match announcer, have been speaking to CWR Breakfast with Phil Upton.
