Delhi ready for air pollution lockdown
Authorities in Delhi say they are ready to impose a complete lockdown to fight worsening air pollution, following a judgement by India's Supreme Court that they should address this. This ruling comes as India faces criticism for its decision, along with China, to water down the commitments in the COP26 climate deal to phase out coal, the worst fossil fuel for greenhouse gases.
So what could this mean for India's future? Here's the view of Akhilesh Anil Kumar, a young Indian man, who has been singled out by the United Nations for his work in promoting climate education.
