Double child killer Colin Pitchfork is back in prison for breaching his licence conditions - less than two months after he was controversially released. He had spent 33 years in jail for raping and murdering 15-year-old girls Lynda Mann and Dawn Ashworth in Leicestershire in the 1980s.

Emma Barnett was joined by former Justice Secretary Robert Buckland on Woman's Hour on 蜜芽传媒 Radio 4 to discuss why he believes Pitchfork should have never been released.

The Ministry of Justice provided a statement about Pitchfork's return to prison, which said: 鈥淧rotecting the public is our number one priority so when offenders breach the conditions of their release and potentially pose an increased risk, we don鈥檛 hesitate to return them to custody.鈥�
