'Just keep the love going' - teen cancer survivor's unselfish act
Exceptionally unselfish cancer survivor uses his wish to feed homeless people.
If you were 13-years-old and you could wish for anything in the world, what would you wish for? A trip to a beach? Or a brand new Playstation? Well, for one young teenager it was to feed the homeless.
Adeola Olagbegi, also known as Abraham, from Jackson, Mississippi, was suffering from a life-threatening condition known as aplastic anaemia. His only hope of survival was to receive a successful bone marrow transplant. Well, one year on Abraham's not only survived but also had his wish granted to help feed the homeless:
"Everybody was surprised and amazed. But the first thing that came to me was giving back. I was given the gift of life so the least I could do was just keep the love going."
His mum, Miriam Olagbegi, said: "I was not surprised, knowing the kind of kid Abraham was... but I was touched."
"When he said 'feed the homeless' - as a mum - I was overwhelmed with joy that God gave me such an amazing son."
