Afghanistan: Red Cross says sanctions are causing massive suffering
A senior Red Cross official has made an impassioned appeal for international support to Afghanistan, saying he's furious that sanctions and hold-ups in aid are cutting off basic services. Dominik Stillhart - Operations Director for the International Committee of the Red Cross - has just returned from Afghanistan and, speaking to Razia Iqbal, he levelled heavy criticism against western countries.
