Can supply chains cope with festive demands?
An economic threat that has been hanging over the festive season has been that of ongoing supply chain shortages caused by a combination of the rebound from the pandemic, global issues and post-Brexit changes to trade flows and immigration.
Shortages of truckers have had an impact throughout the economy. But at one point some within industry had warned the supply of turkeys and other yuletide favourites was under threat.
The Government offered thousands of visas to truckers and poultry workers. What's happened since?
