New Zealand's ambitious smoke free plan
New Zealand has announced a sweeping crackdown on smoking. If the law is passed, those aged 14 or born after 2008 won't be able to buy tobacco at all, there will be a reduced access to tobacco and also plans to remove nicotine from cigarettes. The Associate Health Minister, Dr Ayesha Verrall, who's a hospital doctor, says they want to make sure young people never start smoking.
