Melanie has been shielding since the start of the pandemic due to her being immunosuppressed.

Speaking to 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 Live Breakfast, she said she would like the extremely vulnerable to be included in the conversation but understands that rules for the entire country can鈥檛 be targeted specifically for them.

Melanie has only been doing things that are extremely important to her:

鈥淚鈥檓 trying to balance the mental health of myself and my family, but also try to protect my health,鈥� she said.
