Ryan Babel: the footballer rapping his story
It's not unusual for a professional footballer to write an autobiography... but what's more surprising about the one produced by Ryan Babel - who's played for Galatasaray, Liverpool, Ajax and the Dutch national team - is it's been released as an eight-track rap album.
He says before he was a footballer he was in music bands at school and so this felt a natural fit.
In the album he talks about his feelings on a number of issues, including racism in both the Netherlands and in the UK.
"I call people out. I'm very proud of it... As a football player people expect you not to feel anything... Right now you have way more awareness. Way more people speaking up. And I think we should continue doing that so that we can call out these people, right?"
