Preet Chandi: 'I hope I can help inspire people to achieve whatever they want'
Preet Chandi, known as ‘Polar Preet’, has made history as the first woman of colour to complete a solo expedition to the South Pole. Despite only deciding to pursue the expedition in the past few years, the 700-mile trip only took her 40 days.
She joined Anita Rani on Woman’s Hour to discuss the challenges she faced on the trek and how she hopes the achievement will inspire others to push their own boundaries.
