The boss of British Gas has warned that rising energy prices could last for up to two years.

5 Live listener Anwar Miah says that the rise in cost for energy is already leaving him in a difficult position.

He told 5 Live Breakfast that he and his wife have spoken about telling their children to wear more layers of clothing in the house as opposed to turning the heating on.
