South Korea鈥檚 Choi Min-jeong is a two-time former world champion and will be looking to banish the memories of this race at her home Games four years ago. She crashed in the 1000m after contact with teammate Shim Suk-hee, Choi got up and carried on but could only finish fourth. But there was more to come, when derogatory texts about Choi and another teammate, which were sent from Shim to her coach emerged last year. That led to Shim, the 1000m world record-holder being suspended and consequently missing these Winter Olympics.
