Two days after producing a huge second leap to clinch large hill gold, Marius Lindvik will be part of the Norwegian team seeking to defend the title they won in 2018, when Robert Johansson, dubbed ‘the flying moustache’ in honour of his distinctive facial hair, sealed victory with the final jump. Slovenia won the inaugural mixed team gold at these Games and they had four men finish in the top 12 on the large hill, the type of consistency that could put them in medal contention. Reigning world champions Germany, featuring large hill bronze medallist Karl Geiger, should also be in the mix, while Poland’s team will hope to propel Kamil Stoch to the fourth gold medal of his career.
