In the women's race Czech Republic's Ester Ledecka will again be attempting the double after making history in PyeongChang by winning this event, having already sprung a massive surprise in the women鈥檚 Super-G earlier in the Games. That made her the first woman to win gold medals in two different sports at a Winter Olympics.

In the men's race Lee Sangho won South Korea鈥檚 first and only medal in snowboard in PyeongChang, and is hoping to upgrade his silver to gold in Beijing. Germany鈥檚 World Cup leader Stefan Baumeister is aiming to become the first male German athlete to win an Olympic medal in this event.
