Senegal wins the African Cup of Nations
It was a nail-biting finish at the African Cup of Nations tournament after a goaless match meant Senegal and Egypt went to a penalty shoot-out.
Senegal's Sadio Mane scored the winning penalty to win the tie 4-2 to clinch their first-ever Africa Cup of Nations.
Senegalese fans in the Olembe stadium and across the country celebrated the win.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ reporter Emeline Nsingi Nkosi is in the Senegalese capital Dakar, she watched the game from the fan zone at the African Renaissance Monument. She told Newsday about the reactions in the city after the Senegalese team won.
