Chris Packham: "I'm horrified"
West Ham manager David Moyes has been criticised after allowing defender Kurt Zouma to play against Watford, even though a video emerged of him kicking and smacking his cat.
David Moyes defended his decision when he told ѿý Match of the Day, “I had to pick a football team that gave me the best chance of winning the game.”
Wildlife presenter and conservationist Chris Packham explains why he thinks West Ham “made the wrong decision.”
“He didn’t represent that club in a good light, he didn’t represent football in a good light and he didn’t represent sport in a good light” he told 5 Live’s Nicky Campbell.
Animal charity the RSPCA have since removed two cats from the West Ham defender’s home, and are liaising with Essex Police about the incident.
